KESTRUN is a small label in Rotterdam. We make a short list of clothes for wet, windy cities, cut them in Portugal, and fix them for as long as you want to keep wearing them.
Why we started
Every rain jacket we owned was built for a mountain we never climbed.
We cycle to work in Rotterdam. It rains 220 days a year here, mostly sideways. We wanted a jacket that kept us dry on a bike, looked right in a meeting and didn’t need replacing every two winters.
So we made one. Then a knit to wear under it, and trousers that don’t soak through at the knee. That is still the whole idea.
What we promise

Repair before replace
Five years of free repairs, then repairs at cost for as long as the cloth holds together.
No forever chemicals
Every water-repellent finish we use is PFC-free. We explain the trade-off on each product.
Made close to home
Cut and sewn in three family factories around Porto. We visit every season.
The repair studio
Two machines, a tape press and 1,840 repairs last year.
Post it to us or drop it at a repair point. We patch with offcuts of the original cloth, re-tape seams, replace zips and send it back within three weeks.
