Sixty days on the North Sea coast
We sent three prototypes to a lifeboat volunteer in Zeeland for two months. Here is what came back, and what we changed.
Maartje volunteers on a lifeboat crew in Zeeland and walks her dogs on the dunes twice a day, whatever the weather. We gave her three unfinished jackets in July and asked her to wear them until they broke.
What broke
The zip garage on the first sample rubbed her chin raw within a week. The second lost its hem drawcord to a dog. The third came back fine, apart from a pocket that was too shallow for a phone in a waterproof case.

Our promise
Everything we make is tested in the rain room, and repaired free for five years.
